Must. Bake.Cupcakes.

This weekend I received a fabulous gift from my Aunt & Cousin when they came by to see the casa.
My cousin Lily is also a blogging diva.
Check out her fashionista tendencies over at Lillies And Lace.
They presented me with a teacup cake baking set!

They are silicone cups that hold their shape without needing a muffin tin.
You fill, bake and decorate.
Then place on their cute little plastic plates and serve.
I had to try them out right away!

Cupcakes on Parade

Then it was on to my REAL project.
The real reason I dug out all the pots and pans to get my baking underway.
I had a request to bake "Opening day Baseball cup cakes"
Here is what I came up with!

HOTDOGS!!!

How to?

Circus Peanuts = buns
Squished up caramel squares = wieners

Use toothpick to make wiener lines on the ends

I filled my almond cakes with cherry pie  filling.
I thought it seemed all American and fitting for baseball.
Plus I like Cherry WAY more than apple.

Frost the  cupcakes

Throw on some Mariners colored sprinkles

Boom. Baseball cupcake.

Turned out pretty cute!
