Caramel apples

Not the most practical treat.
Surprisingly difficult to eat.
Top heavy, sticky mess.
Jaw breaking, teeth under stress.
But I still love you,
 my tart apples wrapped in a sweet caramel dress.









AND
did you know they made these now?!
What a life saver

    I love your poem! I've never had a caramel apple before. I think it's leftover fear from my braces days.

    <3 the poem. we typically make caramel apples & homemade popcorn balls every fall...both are very impractical treats, really....and we're never able to eat them all.
    i've actually ended up handing out my popcorn balls along with candy to trick or treaters. ;)
