Christmas memories

I can't believe how fast all of the bloggers I follow got their photos and tales of Christmas Day up and posted!
I feel like I haven't had a spare moment to even look through the photos I have.
OH, wait. I don't have any.
I took my camera with me when we left the house to head down to " The Lodge" for a few nights and  later discovered, I didn't have the card in it!
So, you will have to grin and bare it while you view the photos taken by my mother & mother in law. Every photo my mom takes with her little camera, I end up hating.
I don't know if it is user error or if it is time for us to buy her a new camera.

Anyway, the weekend started off with the in laws.
We had Christmas Eve dinner and opened presents.
They still aren't finished with the house entirely, so right now all the living is taking place in the "mother in law" area above their garage.
There is a living room, 2 bedrooms and small kitchen.
It works.
But, we really can not wait till next year!
They will be getting the biggest tree EVER and inviting everyone they know over for dinner.

Here are some shots from Christmas eve.
I got in the spirit early and put on my ugly cat Christmas PJs before dinner.
I just wanted to have some room to expand, ya know?!
I like pie.

Steve's mom set up a scavenger hunt for us to find presents around the house!

The new hall table!
Bed Time!

Christmas morning, we got up and had breakfast and opened our stockings.
Which were hung on the living room  fireplace in the side of the house that isn't finished yet.
It was cute.

Opening stockings
Then the hubs and I high tailed it to my parents house 1.5 hr away.

We actually made really good time and I didn't get any nasty text messages from my sister telling me to hurry it up.

Once we arrived there, the presents began

My Sweet nutcracker from Steve

Steve's motorcycle mask

New cookbooks

2 of my 3 robes I got!
Then breakfast
Then a nap
Then off to my Aunt's 45 min away for dinner.

I made out pretty good this year!
I am willing to say I got almost everything I was hoping for.
Minus new bedding ( which I technically don't need yet, so that's no big deal)
and some Lululemon workout clothes.
(Which are overpriced, so I'm not surprised.)

Here is some of my loot!

Dior Show Black out Mascara

Steve Madden Merlo Boots

Fred Flare Pea Coat

Sephora Brush Set

Macy's Leopard Robe ( I got 3 of these lol)

Along with books, a couple VS tops, a few hats, a scarf and ......

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas this year.
This holiday was kinda special for us, as it will be the last Christmas we celebrate as a family of two.

Yep, that's right.
