Hostess Party

Grab your aprons and shine your Tupperware, it's party time!

Speaking of which... anyone remember that Eerie Indiana episode with the Tupperware Lady???

Check it out HERE if you don't.
It's awesome.

Last weekend my friend Angela threw a Hostess party at my house.
We had an assortment of vendors show up with all their goodies to sell.

Here are a few shots from the day

Cookie Lee had some great jewelry

I got this hammered gold hoop necklace.
(Zen Necklace)

The Pampered Chef  with all her kitchen gadgets

I got this glass measuring cup with a lid

and a cheese knife

Mary Kay

Tastefully Simple had some great dip and drink mixes

And Origami Owl lockets and necklaces

Which I already own and bought one for my mom and mother in law

 and Gold Canyon Candles

This was a really fun idea to have all the parties in one house and invite everyone over.
We just had an open house and let people show up through out the day.
They browsed, snacked and bought!

I highly recommend it if you are looking for a fun girls day kinda thing to get everyone together!

Keg Bags!

I just launched a new project on Etsy selling Keg Bags!

Begin shameless self promotion now:

I hope you will all check it out and share the news to anyone that you think might be in the market!
I came up with this idea when I was planning my own wedding.
We had an open bar and opted to serve beer out of kegs along with our cocktails and wine.
The most common way to chill your keg is to set it inside a trash can filled with ice.
Although this works perfectly, it wasn't exactly up to my " wedding level" of  fancy.
So I went looking for a solution.
I wanted something to dress up the keg or container.
After scouring the Internet, I came up with nothing.
So I decided to make my own.
Now I am making them for everyone else!

Check out my listing  to purchase HERE

I am sewing them in an assortment of fabrics and styles.
Complete with customization to tie in with your party theme!

Monogramming isn't your only option for customization, but so far that has been what I have been asked to do.
I have  a ton of idea for more style and can't wait to get started on them and give more brides the perfect finishing touches to their perfect day!

If you have any great ideas for design you would love to see, comment below and let me know!

Finally found a use for those wooden clogs

Spring is here

This was a super easy and quick project.
I filled a lot of containers that I was able to put out on my front and back deck.
Using a succulent garden tile that I cut into smaller chunks, I planted sections in old cake pans, a fruit bowl and even clogs!

I got the clogs as part of a baby shower gift.
The white fruit bowl you can see behind them has been in my basement waiting to be used for a while now.

I will take a few pics when the plants grow bigger and fill out, I think they will really look good by the summer.

Now I just need to get started on my lettuce container garden!

Clark's first Easter

Easter was a beautiful day in Seattle this year!
Which is unusual.
I made Clark's little outfit, complete with a bunny tail.
Which I got a hard time for because it was " girly."
In my opinion though, I think I can put him in whatever I feel like until he knows the difference! He isn't even one, so who cares.
He is currently unisex to me!
Hahaha. Sorry Clarky.

We had both sides of the family over at our place this year again.
Steve just cut down 2 huge trees in the back yard too, so we had a lot more sunshine!
